It could take a hammer blow and a 250-metre drop, so it's no wonder it was a sales hit. A total of 136 million units were sold worldwide, and many of them are still serving their nostalgic owners. It's called the "indestructible phone " and you can guess its real name...

To resemble a real historic mobile, the reverse side of the coin in the form of the unbreakable phone is faithfully coloured. The POWER KOIN inscription is a pun - a pun that humorously refers to the name of the phone and coin manufacturer. The obverse side then resembles the internal layout of the famous device with space for the battery and SIM card, while the electrical contacts are gold-plated. As the Power Coin is licensed by a foreign issuer, which is the island of Niue, its obverse side bears its necessary attributes - the national emblem, the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2025.
