The palladium market is one of the few metal markets that is really tense. Palladium is lacking seriously on the ground. It was about 210 tonnes in 2017, but the demand was higher, with a metal deficit of 25 tonnes. This is due to the strong demand of the automotive industry that consumes more than three quarters of palladium production. Palladium is used in catalytic converters of fuel-powered cars, whose sales are on the rise. Diesel engines have fallen into disfavor in Europe after Dieselgate. More and more people can afford the car in China, which is primarily a gas market.  Therefore emission standards are strictly introduced around the world. Palladium is also used in hybrid cars and it is a key component of hydrogen fuel cells. The value of palladium is also influenced by Russia that is its largest supplier and that has shown that it is able to limit the supplies of strategic natural resources in response to geopolitical tensions.

The palladium investment brick was made by renowned Swiss refinery Argor-Heraeus.

Each brick was sealed in a certified packaging.
