Product description
Slovakia is divided into regions nowadays, but in the past - in the years of Hungarian rule from 1884 to 1918 there were the territorial units - the so-called counties. Hontian disctrict was one of them, therefore, it is commemorated by a gold commemorative medal.
The author of the mini-mintage, which was made by the Slovak Mint Kremnica, is the medal maker Branislav Ronai. The relief presents the coat of arms of the county, together with its dominant feature – Bzovik castle.
